Next week, Kennedy Elementary School will have a lot going on, and it all seems to occur on Thursday and Friday. Thursday, November 12th we will be having our Sonic Family Night at the Sonic in Winder from 5:00-8:00. Go on out and enjoy a meal with your family and 10% of the proceeds come back to Kennedy to assist with instructional assistance. Thursday night we will also be having a Hot Dogs and Homework for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade. This is an opportunity for parents to find out what is going on in the classrooms while the students get some additional help with homework from the teachers. From 5:30-6:00 we will serve dinner and from 6:00-7:00 we will do the homework.
Friday the 13th will also be a day filled with events. Dads Volunteer Day (DVD) will happen from 8:00-12:00 that morning. If you would like to help out, please contact the school and we will get you hooked up. We need dads to help reading in the classroom as well as help setting up Christmas trees and sprucing up our grounds. Friday night we will have our Fall Dance from 6:00-8:00 pm. Once again DJ Osborne will be here playing some of your favorite tunes to dance to.
