Happy Veterans' Day!
Sorry I am a little late with this one, but on 11/11 we took time to celebrate, honor, and thank those who have given their time, effort, and even their lives so that we can have the freedoms that we have in the greatest country on Earth. I am humbled by the sacrifices our military. They selflessly go out and defend our freedoms with delay. They do it with honor and pride and they do it without getting the credit they deserve. The fact that I have the ability to get on a computer and freely talk about the wonderful students and teachers at Kennedy or the fact that our students have the right to an education is because of our military past and present. Thank you to all of our veterans. On Veteran's day, Kennedy Elementary School took 11 seconds of silence at 11:11 on November 11th to honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom. I was very proud!
