It was great to see our Canine Assistance Reader Dog, Kaloda back on Friday. She has not been able to come because of her owner being out for a while, but they were able to arrange it for Mrs. Harwell to take care of her and bring her back in on Friday. Kaloda is a trained reader dog that works as an incentive for our Kindergarten students to read. Our Kindergartners get to earn the opportunity to read to Kaloda each Friday by reading throughout the week at home. It is a great incentive and the students love it.
