I would like to thank the BCFD for coming out and doing a fire safety presentation with our Pre-K through 3rd graders. Our students were given a chance to talk about what to do when the smoke detector goes off in their house, how firefighters use tools to protect people, and the importance of having a fire safety plan for their homes. They also got to see all the really "COOL" firefighter equipment. Thank you to Scott Dakin of Barrow County Fire Department for coming out and sharing with our kids.
